[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education has created learning materials to enhance students' financial life skills.
On the 1st, the Office of Education distributed the video and worksheet titled "Wise Financial Life for Young Adults" to all high schools in the district.
The materials are designed as financial fraud prevention education for third-year high school students after the college entrance exam and young adults who are new to society.
The learning materials were developed with advice and cooperation from local institutions, including current high school teachers, the Busan-Ulsan branch of the Financial Supervisory Service, and Korea Polytechnics Dongbusan Campus.
The video depicts reenactments of financial fraud cases targeting young adults and provides information on preventing financial fraud.
A worksheet is also provided so that students can study after watching the video.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to upload the video learning materials on its YouTube channel so that anyone can access and learn from them.
