View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] It has been reported that Kim Yoon-yi, CEO of Neuro Associates, who joined Lee Jae-myung's Democratic Party presidential campaign committee as a young talent, expressed her desire to participate in Yoon Seok-yeol's People Power Party presidential campaign committee until the day before the personnel announcement.
According to multiple media reports on the 1st, CEO Kim conveyed her wish to work in Yoon's campaign committee to People Power Party lawmaker Park Soo-young last week. CEO Kim and Lawmaker Park are said to have a friendly relationship as senior and junior alumni of Harvard University.
Lawmaker Park met CEO Kim around 4 p.m. on the 30th of last month at the National Assembly building, and CEO Kim handed her resume to Park at that time. Park said, "She came to me, a People Power Party lawmaker, the day before and asked me to recommend her to Yoon Seok-yeol's campaign committee, but then going to the Democratic Party the next day?is that really right?" and added, "She didn't even make a single phone call, and she didn't answer when I called her."
She then criticized, "After going through this incident, I realized that not all young people are the same. What is the difference between her and a position hunter?"
Lawmaker Park revealed that she sent CEO Kim's resume to Kwon Young-se, the party's external cooperation chairman and the head of the campaign committee's special advisory group, but quickly withdrew it.
Regarding this, candidate Lee expressed respect for CEO Kim's choice. On the 1st, Lee posted on Twitter, "I will do my best to allow CEO Kim Yoon-yi to freely demonstrate her convictions and capabilities within the Democratic Party," defending her.
He also pointed out, targeting the People Power Party, "It is hard to understand why the People Power Party, which even recruited Kim Byung-joon and Kim Han-gil, who were formerly with the Democratic Party, particularly criticizes CEO Kim Yoon-yi."
