The seminar was held with the purpose of exploring the development of industries related to the port.
Attendees included associations and CEOs from port-related industries such as ship supplies, ship repair, bunkering, and inspection, as well as officials from Busan City and the Busan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office.
Professor Choi Hyung-rim of Dong-A University gave a presentation titled 'Future Industries and Challenges of Busan Port,' and Professor Jo Sam-hyun of Dong-Eui University presented on 'New Challenges of Busan Port.'
Participants diagnosed the problems of the port industry and discussed the future development directions and challenges to be overcome by the industry.
