Gwangyang City Wins 'Excellence Award' in Jeollanam-do City and County Volunteer Center Evaluation
Significantly Contributing to Volunteer Activation Including Promotion of Region-Specialized Volunteer Programs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 1st that it received the Excellence Award in the evaluation of city and county volunteer centers at the '2021 Jeollanam-do Volunteer Conference' held at the Kim Dae-jung Auditorium of Jeollanam-do Provincial Office.
This evaluation was conducted on 22 cities and counties based on 10 indicators in 5 areas, including expansion of volunteer infrastructure, activation of volunteer linkage cooperation, and performance of regional specialized programs.
In addition to receiving the Excellence Award, the city was honored with awards in various other fields as follows.
