Now in its 4th year, the International LNG Conference is the only domestic international academic conference on eco-friendly ships, jointly hosted by the Gyeongnam Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment Industry Cooperative, Gyeongnam Technopark, Korea LNG Bunkering Industry Association, and Korea Maritime University LINC+ Project Group.
This conference will feature keynote speeches on government R&D directions and projects for ship decarbonization, the current status and prospects of eco-friendly fuels for ships, LNG and the future path, followed by presentations on various topics across 10 sessions in 2 tracks.
Key topics by session include the shipbuilding industry's response to IMO (International Maritime Organization) environmental regulations, design trends of LNG fuel-powered ships and application of high-tensile steel fuel tanks, development status of carbon-free fuels (ammonia, hydrogen, etc.), development status and technology trends of LNG bunkering equipment, eco-friendly ship repair and retrofit technologies, and introduction of eco-friendly engine development status.
