Coupang Participates in 'Super Seoul Week' to Support Small Business Owners... Until the 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Coupang announced on the 1st that it will participate in the ‘Super Seoul Week’ along with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Productivity Center to help small business owners struggling due to the consumption downturn.
During this event, which runs until the 22nd, customers can find excellent products from small business owners based in Seoul across various categories such as food, stationery, home interior, fashion apparel, kitchenware, and health supplements. Coupang plans to directly purchase outstanding products from Seoul’s small business owners and offer them through Rocket Delivery, while also supporting advertising costs through one-on-one matching funding between local governments and Coupang to help increase sales for small business owners.
Benefits to purchase products at affordable prices have also been prepared. Customers who purchase products from Seoul’s small business owners during the event period can receive discounts of up to 20% (up to a maximum of 10,000 KRW) depending on the product.
Along with Super Seoul Week, Coupang will run ‘SsolSsol Market,’ which gathers excellent products from small business owners in the Seoul area in one place, until the end of this month to support online sales for small business owners. The company plans to continue supporting micro small business owners to revitalize the sluggish local economy.
