KOICA Establishes 10-Year National Health Plan for Paraguay
9[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) announced on the 1st that it held a proclamation ceremony for the Paraguayan government's 10-year national health promotion policy, established mainly by our health experts, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay, on the 30th of last month (local time).
This plan involved experts as part of the government grant aid project currently being carried out by KOICA.
This plan presents ways to improve the current problems of Paraguay's health policy, a national-level vision and goals, and includes implementation strategies and directions.
Specifically, it proposes ▲strengthening the health environment ▲developing health promotion capabilities in social, cultural, environmental, economic, and political dimensions ▲community participation and roles ▲governance improvement ▲directions for establishing and managing an integrated healthcare system and network.
