Mayfield Hotel Seoul Launches Christmas Special Cake
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] The bakery boutique shop 'Delice' at Mayfield Hotel Seoul announced on the 1st that it has launched four limited-edition cakes for the Christmas season.
Delice's signature cake, 'G?teau aux Fraises,' is an authentic French fraisier cake with strawberries. It features a soft sponge layered with milk fresh cream containing mascarpone cheese and strawberries.
'Christmas Gift' is a strawberry mousse cake harmonized with layers of strawberry jelly and pistachio mousse. The cake is glazed with white chocolate and finished with fudge brownie. The tree ornaments are shaped with white, strawberry, and dark chocolate mousse.
'Merry Santa' offers flavors of Valrhona dark chocolate mousse with fudge brownie, cheesecake, and cherry compote. The cake, sprayed to create a velvet texture, is wrapped in a Santa belt shape, and the chocolate tree is decorated with silver bead-like lights.
'White Snow' is made with Valrhona white chocolate mousse and yuzu marmalade. The cake, sprayed with chocolate, is accented with a green tree. It features decorations using gold powder.
