31 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Among Students and Church Members in Gwangju

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 26th, a total of 31 new COVID-19 cases were classified in one day, including 30 local infections and 1 imported case.
By infection route, 9 cases related to previous confirmed patients were the highest.
Next, 3 confirmed cases each were found related to a kindergarten in Seo-gu, a religious facility in Gwangsan-gu, and a bathhouse in Buk-gu.
Following that, 2 cases each were linked to a daycare center in Buk-gu and confirmed patients from other cities and provinces, while 1 case each occurred at a middle school in Gwangsan-gu, a nursing hospital in Gwangju, and an imported case.
Five people, including cases 6060, 6071, and 6074, had unidentified infection routes, among whom one was an office worker at a local housing cooperative in Seo-gu, and four experienced chain infections.
The spouse, who works at a manufacturing company in Gwangsan-gu, was confirmed positive, followed by infections of their child attending a kindergarten in Gwangsan-gu and the spouse’s workplace colleagues.
Additionally, among the previous confirmed patients were a student from Honam University and a pastor at a church in Gwangsan-gu.
