Professor Kwak I-seop of the Department of Physical Education at Dong-Eui University (Director of the Arts and Physical Education Research Institute) received the Best Reviewer Award, the top academic reviewer award, at the "2021 Korean Society of Exercise Physiology Annual International Conference and General Meeting" held on the 12th.
The Korean Society of Exercise Physiology is a leading society in the field of exercise science.
The society's official academic journal, "Exercise Science," is the first Korean physical education-related academic journal to be indexed in SCOPUS.
Professor Kwak was appointed as the Chair of the SCI Promotion Committee of the Korean Society of Life Sciences in 2015 and 2016.
Professor Kwak received the Excellent Poster Award at the 2016 Korean Society of Life Sciences International Conference, the Excellent Poster Presentation Award at the 2017 Korean Society of Exercise Physiology, and the HK Biotech Academic Award from the Korean Society of Life Sciences in 2019.
