Now in its 14th year, this awards ceremony honors metropolitan and local council members who have demonstrated outstanding legislative activities and administrative audits throughout the year. Awardees are selected through evaluations conducted by a panel of experts in various fields.
As a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan Council’s Industry and Construction Committee, Councilor Jang raised issues and proposed solutions during the recent administrative audit regarding ▲subcontracting rates of local construction companies falling short over the past four years ▲low registration rates for the pet registration system and attempts to evade fines through loopholes ▲low subscription rates for the Small Business Social Safety Net Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid ▲concurrent holding of the position of director at the Gwangju Design Promotion Institute ▲crime blind spots inside urban railway vehicles, among other matters.
