View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Chosun University College of Future Society Convergence announced on the 25th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Cultural Center on the 24th to promote 'Employment First? Learning Later.'
Attending the signing ceremony were Kim Bok-hee, Dean of the College of Future Society Convergence at Chosun University, Moon Seung-ryeol, Head of the Department of Human Convergence Services, Professor Cho Sungha of the same department, as well as Jeong In-seo, Director of Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Cultural Center, Kim Min-jung, Secretary General, and Jo So-yeon, Deputy Manager.
The details of the agreement include ▲ cooperation to promote Employment First? Learning Later ▲ collaboration linking employment first with Chosun University family companies for graduates of specialized high schools/Meister high schools ▲ support for in-service education and training for those employed first ▲ cooperation in information exchange to promote Employment First? Learning Later ▲ and operation of mutual consultation on other related fields.
Dean Kim Bok-hee said, "The newly established Department of Public Service under the College of Future Society Convergence will admit new students starting next year, and the enthusiasm for learning among the adult learners enrolled in the college is remarkable," adding, "We hope for active cooperation so that mutual win-win development can be achieved with Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Cultural Center."
Director Jeong In-seo said, "We are pleased to have the first MOU agreement with Chosun University College of Future Society Convergence," and added, "It would be great if the Seo-gu Cultural Center in Gwangju could open courses or recommend and invite instructors where roles are needed by the College of Future Society Convergence at Chosun University to facilitate mutual exchange."
Meanwhile, Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Cultural Center conducts cultural resource discovery and educational projects for local residents and operates various programs for talent development, including photo exhibitions, performances, and presentations in exhibition halls and theaters.
