[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Park Young-sook, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, stated that warm support for vulnerable groups is urgently needed as the year-end approaches.
On the 25th, during the first plenary session of the 2nd regular meeting of the 300th session, Councilor Park said in a 5-minute free speech, "Since the COVID-19 situation, support from the community for vulnerable groups has become even more necessary."
She continued, "Warm support from local governments and local councils for these individuals is urgently needed," adding, "There is a need to hold sharing events for vulnerable groups at year-end, such as kimchi-sharing events during the kimjang season, and to organize sharing festivals in which Seo-gu residents voluntarily participate."
