November Public Officials' Asset Disclosure: Korea National University of Arts President Holds 15.8 Billion KRW
Hankyong University Vice President Reports 9.8 Billion KRW, Financial Supervisory Service Chief Reports 6.4 Billion KRW in Asset Declarations
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] Reviewing the status of asset disclosures for senior government officials in November, among current officials, Kim Dae-jin, President of the Korea National University of Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, had the highest assets amounting to 15,894,330,000 KRW.
The Government Official Ethics Committee disclosed the asset registration details of 59 senior officials at midnight on the 26th through the Republic of Korea Electronic Gazette. The disclosed senior officials include 17 new appointees, 18 promotions, and 22 retirees, totaling 59 individuals.
Among current senior officials, President Kim Dae-jin had the largest assets, followed by Lee Won-hee, Vice President of Hankyong National University under the Ministry of Education (9,869,070,000 KRW), and Jung Eun-bo, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service (6,468,860,000 KRW).

Among retirees, Hong Ui-rak, former Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Daegu Metropolitan City (4,373,290,000 KRW), Eun Sung-soo, former Chairman of the Financial Services Commission (4,312,900,000 KRW), and Noh Jeong-hye, former President of the Korea Research Foundation under the Ministry of Science and ICT (4,181,190,000 KRW) ranked first to third in assets.
