Airport Railroad to Resume Direct Train Service Between Seoul Station and Incheon Airport Starting January Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Airport Railroad announced on the 25th that it will resume the operation of the direct train, which was suspended due to the spread of COVID-19, starting from January next year.
The direct train is an express train that only stops at Seoul Station, Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Station, and Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Station, without stopping at intermediate stations. Due to the continued spread of COVID-19 and the inability of overseas arrivals to use the Airport Railroad, the operation has been suspended since April last year.
With the resumption of the direct train operation, the check-in and departure inspection services at Seoul Station's Downtown Airport Terminal will also be provided again.
