Lee Jun-seok: "If Kim Byung-joon becomes a 'special envoy,' I think Kim Jong-in can be accepted"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, predicted that if Kim Byung-joon, former emergency committee chairman of the Liberty Korea Party, who was appointed as the standing election countermeasure committee chairman, takes on a special assignment to lead a 'special organization,' former People Power Party emergency committee chairman Kim Jong-in could join the election committee.
On the 24th, Lee appeared on BBS Radio's 'Park Kyung-soo's Morning Journal' and said, "There is no veto from Chairman Kim Jong-in against Chairman Kim Byung-joon personally," suggesting that Kim Byung-joon's position would be a key link in the final formation of the election committee.
He said, "In the case of Chairman Kim Han-gil, he took charge of a special organization called the New Era Committee as a special assignment," adding, "Similarly, if Chairman Kim Byung-joon is organized in such a form, I think Chairman Kim Jong-in might feel it is acceptable."
Lee said, "Since becoming party leader, regardless of who the presidential candidate is, it has been assumed that the election committee would be overseen by Chairman Kim Jong-in, and preparations for the election have been made accordingly," and added, "There are always some difficulties before the launch of the election committee, so I think it is a usual seasoning before the presidential election."

It showed an attitude of listening."
