Geological Experience and Natural Scenery at Hantangang Area: A Tourist Attraction in Northern Gyeonggi
[Asia Economy Reporter La Youngcheol] Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 23rd that it has completed the construction of a 3.8 km section of the Hantangang Columnar Jointing Trail (from Goneung-ri Sewolgyo to Namgye-ri Dogampo) carried out under the Special Act on Support for Border Areas.
The Hantangang Columnar Jointing Trail, connecting Cheorwon, Pocheon, and Yeoncheon, is considered a tourist attraction in northern Gyeonggi where visitors can enjoy various geological experiences and the beautiful natural scenery of the Hantangang area. The entire length of the Yeoncheon-gun Hantangang Columnar Jointing Trail is 25.1 km.
