On Seung-rok, Nowon-gu Mayor, to Attend Nowon-gu Veterans Hall Opening Ceremony at 1:30 PM on the 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 22nd at 1:30 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the opening ceremony of the Nowon-gu Veterans Hall (Hagye 1-dong).
The ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the remodeling project of the Nowon-gu Veterans Hall, which has been underway since last year.
The Nowon-gu Veterans Hall, with a total floor area of 192㎡ and a single above-ground floor, has been newly renovated with a large conference room, offices, shower rooms, a pantry, and parking lot, marking a new beginning.
The Nowon-gu Veterans Hall is intended to be used as a place where male and female reserve soldiers who have completed military service gather to enhance security awareness, promote social welfare, and foster mutual friendship.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, the President of the Seoul Veterans Association, the Chief of Nowon Police Station, and others, proceeding in the order of progress report, congratulatory speeches, presentation of plaques of appreciation, commemorative photo session and ribbon-cutting ceremony, and rounding.
