Lotte Shopping 'Visiting Psychological Counseling Center' Supports Employees' Mental Health
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Lotte Shopping has taken steps to support the mental health of employees working at local stores through the operation of an on-site mobile psychological counseling center.
On the 22nd, Lotte Shopping conducted psychological counseling and art healing therapy for employees and partner company staff working in Mokpo and Muan, Jeollanam-do, at Lotte Super Hadang Branch and Naman Branch, and on the 23rd at Lotte Outlet Naman Branch.
This program was carried out as part of Lotte Shopping’s integrated social contribution activities and the ‘Rejoice Campaign,’ which supports women’s self-esteem, dreams, and challenges. It was designed to provide counseling opportunities to employees who need emotional comfort but face physical constraints due to working in local areas, making it difficult to access psychological counseling easily.
Through in-depth psychological counseling, employees received help in understanding and resolving various issues arising from personal concerns and interpersonal relationships. Additionally, through art therapy, they were able to diagnose their own psychological state and have time to soothe their minds.
Kim Hak-su, CSR Team Leader of Lotte Shopping Communications Office, said, “We planned this ‘Mobile On-site Psychological Counseling Center’ program so that employees and partner company staff in local areas can also receive psychological counseling.” He added, “In line with the inaugural year declaration of Lotte Shopping’s ESG management, we will continue to carry out various programs to help women lead more radiant lives.”
Meanwhile, Lotte Shopping launched its ESG Committee for the first time on the 11th and has begun establishing a full-fledged ESG management system.
