[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza announced on the 20th that highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) was confirmed at a breeding duck farm in Gangjin, Jeonnam.
Approximately 24,000 breeding ducks are raised at this farm. The headquarters is implementing strengthened quarantine measures such as preventive culling of affected farms, controlling farm access, and intensive disinfection.
