Multiple Collision Accident on Gyeongbu Expressway Southbound... 10 Injured
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] A multi-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound lanes of the Gyeongbu Expressway, injuring 10 people.
According to police and fire authorities on the 19th, at around 12:54 PM, an Avante passenger car crashed into the central divider at the 156 km mark on the southbound lanes of the Gyeongbuk Chilgok-gun Gyeongbu Expressway. Three vehicles following behind the crashed car subsequently collided in a triple collision.
As a result of the accident, 10 people were injured, but none appear to be in life-threatening condition. Among the injured, 7 were transported to hospitals by 119 ambulance vehicles, and 3 went to hospitals by their own cars.
The police controlled lanes 1 and 2 of the four-lane one-way road and allowed vehicles to pass through lanes 3 and 4.
