As a result of the accident, the bow of the trap fishing boat was damaged, and a 3?5 cm hole was made in the storage area, causing seawater to leak in. There were two crew members on the trap fishing boat, but fortunately, there were no serious injuries.
All seven people aboard the petroleum product carrier were also reported to be in good health.
