Korea Investment & Securities Passes MyData Functional Suitability Review
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 18th that it has passed the "MyData Service Functional Conformity Assessment" conducted by the Financial Security Institute. The functional conformity assessment is a procedure to check whether the services provided by MyData operators have been developed without issues according to standard specifications.
Korea Investment & Securities obtained the official MyData service license last September. After undergoing security vulnerability checks and a closed beta test (CBT) conducted by the Credit Information Service, it plans to open the service early next year after final stability verification. This service focuses on "investment in daily life" through a separate app equipped with a simple and intuitive user interface.
