The Fourth Video Revealing the Hidden Stories of Independence Heroes
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 17th that it has released a video titled "The Family's Devotion for Independence, Udang Lee Hoe-young" in commemoration of the Day of the Patriotic Martyrs and the anniversary of the death of Lee Hoe-young.
This video is the fourth story in the "Hidden Stories of Independence Heroes" series, part of KB Kookmin Bank's "Korea Survived" campaign. The production involved Professor Seo Kyung-duk of Sungshin Women's University, a Korean public relations expert who has been serving as the campaign ambassador since March.
The video depicts the life of Lee Hoe-young, the wealthiest family in Joseon during the Japanese colonial period, highlighting their devotion to independence and efforts to expose the injustices of Japanese imperialism to the world. It tells the noble story of the Lee family, who sold all their assets and embarked on exile for the independence movement, through an emotional video narrated by actress Park Sol-mi. The video is available with Korean and English subtitles on KB Kookmin Bank's YouTube channel.
