According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 14th, as of 2 PM, 13 people tested positive and were classified as cases number 5624 to 5636.
They include 2 related to a large workplace in Gwangsan-gu, 3 related to a nursing hospital in Seo-gu, 3 related to an interregional sports competition, 1 related to a previously confirmed case, and 4 under investigation due to symptoms.
The 2 cases related to the large workplace in Gwangsan-gu were transmitted among family members, bringing the total cumulative cases to 36.
Among the 3 cases related to the nursing hospital in Seo-gu, 2 are patients and 1 is a staff member, confirming a total of 61 cases related to the nursing hospital.
The 3 cases related to the interregional sports competition include 2 middle school students and 1 high school student from middle and high schools located in Seo-gu.
They were confirmed positive after participating in a Kendo competition held in another region from the 11th to the 13th.
One previously confirmed case contracted the virus through contact with an acquaintance, and among the 4 under investigation due to symptoms, 2 have been identified as university students. The infection routes of the remaining 2 are still being investigated.
