Gyeongnam National University 4th Engineering Building Remodeled as a Space for Fostering Creative Convergence Talent

Gyeongnam National University has been striving to improve the educational environment, including large-scale educational innovation and the establishment of student-friendly 'smart learning spaces,' to cultivate 'creative convergence future talents' that meet the demands of future educational sites and industries in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
With this remodeling, the first floor of the 4th Engineering Building now features diverse educational environments for nurturing creative convergence talents, such as student lounges, an open lounge lobby, co-working spaces, metaverse, 3D creative workshop center, work lounges, meeting rooms, and multi-offices.
President Park Jae-gyu said, "For students equipped with creative wisdom in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution to grow into outstanding future talents, future-oriented education and the advancement of educational environments are essential. I thank the LINC+ project officials who worked hard to create this space, and I hope that students can fully demonstrate their creativity and capabilities in the newly established creative convergence space."
