'Second Youth' ... 2021 Daegu Active Senior Expo Kicks Off on the 10th!
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The '2021 Daegu Active Senior Fair,' a specialized exhibition for seniors, will be held for three days from the 10th to the 12th at EXCO East Hall.
The fair, under the theme "Happy Technology for People, Seniors are Youth!", provides opportunities for information exchange for people in their 50s and 60s.
Hosted by Daegu City to promote the local senior industry, the event is co-organized by EXCO and the Daegu Technopark Bio-Health Convergence Center.
The exhibition features a total of 165 companies related to senior innovative products, technologies, and services, operating approximately 300 booths.
It offers professional solutions in various fields to help seniors pursuing new lifestyles lead healthy and happy lives.
Visitors can explore a variety of products and information including the 'Lifelong Job Pavilion,' 'Free Health Checkup Pavilion,' 'Self Healthcare Specialty Pavilion,' 'Finance and Investment Pavilion,' 'Leisure and Hobby Products Pavilion,' 'Hair (Hair Loss) Specialty Pavilion,' and 'Senior Welfare Promotion Pavilion.'
A special pavilion for gerontechnology, combining science, technology, and welfare care with artificial intelligence and data science, is operated within the exhibition hall.
On the 10th and 11th, the simultaneously held 'Gerontechnology Expo & Forum (IGEF 2021)' will feature keynote speeches on related technologies for smart aging and international trends in gerontechnology during the COVID-19 era.
As a pre-event for the international gerontechnology conference (ISG2022 Daegu) to be held in Daegu next year, it will also lay the foundation for a successful event.
As a side event, various businesses targeting active seniors will be offered as 'experiential content.'
