The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will operate the "Preliminary Elementary, Middle, and High School Parents' Classroom" online and offline three times on the 16th, 19th, and 29th at the auditorium of the Southern Education Support Office, targeting about 100 parents.
The parents' classroom was prepared to provide useful information and resolve questions for parents regarding their children's advancement to higher-level schools.
Superintendent Kim Seok-jun will give a special lecture on the theme "Busan Education Opening the Future Together and the Role of Parents" during the parents' classroom sessions.
On the 16th at 11:30 a.m., Son Kyung-mi, vice principal of Myeongji Elementary School, will give a lecture titled "Wise Parents, A Preview of School (100-Day Project for Preparing for Elementary School Admission)" for prospective elementary school parents.
On the 19th at 11 a.m., Min Soon-i, principal of Gupo Middle School, will lecture on "Middle School, a Springboard for Learning and Growth" for prospective middle school parents.
On the 29th at 11:30 a.m., Jeon Young-geun, principal of Busan Il Science High School, will deliver a lecture titled "Parent Guide for Prospective High School Students (Designing High School Life Awakening the Future with Your Child)" for prospective high school parents.
Parents wishing to participate offline can apply through the Busan Parents Support Portal.
Parents who cannot attend in person can participate online via the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education's YouTube channel.
