LHI Journal Selected as a Candidate Journal for Registration by the National Research Foundation of Korea

Recognized as an Authoritative Journal, Expected to Share More Active Technological and Research Achievements
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 9th that the ‘LHI Journal’ published by the LH Land and Housing Institute (LHI) has been selected as a ‘Newly Registered Candidate Academic Journal for 2021’ by the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The ‘LHI Journal’ is the first comprehensive academic journal in Korea related to land, housing, and urban studies, first published in September 2010, and is issued four times a year. Since its inception, a total of 365 practical papers by internal and external experts have been published across five fields including land and housing, economics and management, architecture, and energy.
Based on performance over the past two years, LHI applied for an academic journal evaluation to the National Research Foundation, and as a result, the ‘LHI Journal’ was selected as a newly registered candidate academic journal with a high score of 91.18 points. It was reported that the journal was highly evaluated for its differentiation from other academic journals by utilizing practical knowledge and for discovering complex and challenging issues related to land and housing and addressing them as academic topics.
Heo Nam-il, Acting Director of the Land and Housing Institute, said, "We hope that this result will encourage more external researchers to submit papers to the ‘LHI Journal’ and that LH will gain many insights through this."
