View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Park Cheol-min, a member of the International Mafia faction, pointed to former Komatrade CEO Lee Jun-seok as the person who raised 2 billion won in connection with the 'Lee Jae-myung gang involvement rumor.' However, former CEO Lee denied having any acquaintance with Park.
Earlier, Park claimed the '2 billion won bribery rumor' as evidence of the gang involvement rumor surrounding Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate. On the 18th, Kim Yong-pan, a member of the People Power Party, revealed a handwritten statement and photos of cash bundles provided by Park during the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee's Gyeonggi Province audit.
However, on the 8th, former CEO Lee appeared on TBS Radio's 'Kim Eo-jun's News Factory' and claimed, "Park's side offered 1 billion won and asked for false information."
He added, "I have never met (Park) separately. He is not an employee of our company, nor do I have any personal relationship with him. When I asked around, they said he was friends with a company employee who was my chauffeur for three months and another employee who worked at the logistics warehouse."

According to former CEO Lee, the 7 to 8 letters Park sent to his lawyer included photos of cash bundles and photos of Park attending People Power Party events. He claimed that Park said, "The People Power Party verification team has checked your corruption, so if you don't cooperate, you will get hurt."
Former CEO Lee also explained, "Park emphasized his relationship with his father, former city council member Park Yong-seung, and urged me to 'meet my father quickly,' even sending screenshots of KakaoTalk messages exchanged with his father."
He added, "It seemed like he was trying to appeal that things were being arranged for me," and "Ultimately, it seemed to imply that if former council member Park received the nomination and succeeded, he would actively support me."
