Hapcheon-gun Awards Prizes to Diligent Local Taxpayers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 8th that it held a ‘Local Tax Honest Taxpayer Prize Drawing Event’ to promote a sound tax payment atmosphere.
The drawing was held with county officials including County Governor Moon Jun-hee present, selecting 100 people among those who set up automatic transfers for automobile tax and property tax, early payers (5 days before the payment deadline), and those who paid the annual automobile tax in a lump sum. To ensure fairness, the drawing was conducted randomly through the local tax system.
The honest taxpayer prize drawing is held annually to provide incentives to residents who have faithfully paid local taxes despite difficult economic conditions such as COVID-19, thereby fostering a healthy tax payment atmosphere.
The 100 winners will each receive 50,000 KRW in Hapcheon Love Gift Certificates, which is expected to help revitalize the local economy. The list of winners can be checked on the county office website, and the prizes will be sent by registered mail along with a letter of appreciation.
