The Justice Party held the campaign committee launch ceremony in Yeouido, Seoul, in the morning, appointing Representative Yeo Young-guk as the overall standing campaign committee chairperson. The joint standing campaign committee chairpersons included Floor Leader Bae Jin-kyo, Youth Justice Party Representative Kang Min-jin, former representative and primary candidate Lee Jeong-mi, and Gwangju City Party Chairperson Na Kyung-chae. Eleven others were appointed as joint campaign committee chairpersons: Kim Yong-ho, Park In-sook, Park Chang-jin, Bae Bok-joo, Song Chi-yong, Kang Eun-mi, Ryu Ho-jeong, Lee Eun-joo, Jang Hye-young, Kim Yoon-gi, and Hwang Soon-sik. The chief spokesperson of the campaign committee was Representative Jang Hye-young, and Secretary-General Shin Eon-jik was appointed as the overall campaign headquarters director.
At the event, candidate Sim said, "We will end the alternating power politics of the old and new vested interests and vigorously open an era of multi-party responsible coalition government led by citizens."
She criticized, "The Democratic Party government betrayed the hopes of the candlelight citizens," and added, "Above all, it must take historical responsibility for the splendid revival of the conservative forces that should have disappeared into the annals of history." She then questioned, "Wasn't it the Democratic Party government that made Yoon the candidate of the People Power Party?" She continued, "Since candidate Lee Jae-myung was selected as the Democratic Party candidate, the desire for regime change has become even stronger," emphasizing, "Bound by the Daejang-dong scandal, explaining the same suspicions, being summoned for investigations by the prosecution and police?candidate Lee Jae-myung cannot defeat candidate Yoon Seok-youl."
Candidate Sim added, "I will definitely defeat Yoon Seok-youl and win to create a country where citizens' lives are those of an advanced nation."
