Gwangju University, 12 Military Scholarship Students and 3 Officer Exam Passers

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) Department of Defense Technology announced on the 8th that 12 students have been finally selected in the '2021 Army Military Scholarship Student Selection Exam.'
The students who passed the final selection exam, including Choi Seon-kyung (Class of 2018), will receive full tuition scholarships for four years.
In addition, three students passed the Air Force and Marine Corps officer exams, and Lee Young-je (Class of 2016) passed the Army tank maintenance technical military civilian exam, establishing the department as a cradle for training not only military officers and non-commissioned officers but also military civilians.
Professor Park In-seok of Gwangju University Department of Defense Technology said, "We will actively support increasing the pass rate of ROTC officers and nationwide military scholarship student selection exams, helping students to focus freely on their studies without the burden of tuition fees."
Meanwhile, the Department of Defense Technology at Gwangju University is focusing on increasing the pass rate of military officer exams through early recruitment education for freshmen and has been gaining attention by achieving excellent results every year in the Ministry of National Defense's 'University Evaluation for ROTC Installation.'
