This service to assist in the issuance of alien registration cards was held on a Saturday, a holiday for the Gwangju Immigration Office, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the local community. The Immigration Office opened five booths in the stay team.
Chai Chengzi, a student who entered Korea from China for language training, expressed gratitude, saying, "It was very difficult to come to Korea due to COVID-19, but with the help of the school, I was able to easily complete the stay procedures after entering the country."
The Gwangju Immigration Office and Honam University continue to provide this service to facilitate civil complaints for foreign students who find it difficult to visit administrative agencies due to COVID-19 prevention and academic commitments, and plan to actively cooperate in supporting foreign student stay management in the future.
