Geumcheon-gu to Open the 6th Geumcheon-gu Youth Council on the 6th

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) held the opening ceremony of the "6th Geumcheon-gu Youth Council" and a regular meeting at 1 p.m. on the 6th in the main conference hall of the Geumcheon-gu Council.
On this day, Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, Baek Seung-kwon, Chairman of the Geumcheon-gu Council, and Park Chan-gil, Vice Chairman, attended to congratulate the opening of the 6th Youth Council and encourage the youth council members.
During the subsequent regular meeting, the elected youth council members took charge of the proceedings and proposed agenda items regarding the election of the chairperson and the formation of standing committees.
Kwon Ji-hye from Dongil Girls' High School was elected as chairperson, and Jung Na-kyung from Munseong Middle School was elected as vice chairperson.
The youth council members of the "6th Geumcheon-gu Youth Council" will continue to actively engage in regular meetings to express opinions reflecting the needs of youth and work towards the realization of youth policies in the district.
The "Geumcheon-gu Youth Council" is a specialized project for youth policy participation in Geumcheon-gu, now in its 6th term since its first opening in 2016. From August 23 (Monday) to 27 (Friday), a youth general election was held, and 20 youth council members were elected based on the proportion of votes received by political parties.
