Seocho-gu 'Happy Father Photo' Contest
Despite the hardships caused by COVID-19, an event prepared to create happy memories with family for residents living diligently as fathers... Online submissions open until the 30th under the themes "My Happy Father" and "Happy Me as a Father"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eun-hee Jo) is holding the 2nd Seocho-gu Father Center 'Happy Father Photo Contest' until the 30th.
The Seocho-gu Father Center, established by the district in 2016, is the nation's first happy healing space that provides fathers with opportunities for rest and learning, aiming not only to restore fathers' self-esteem but also to promote bonding and friendship.
This contest, under the themes 'My Happy Father' and 'Happy Me as a Father,' was prepared to create happy memories with family for fathers who are working hard for their families despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19.
Anyone who is a Seocho-gu resident or works at a workplace (business) within Seocho-gu can participate, and each person can submit up to two photos matching the theme.
Applications are accepted via the dedicated email of the Seocho-gu Father Center (help@papa-power.com). When applying, applicants should send their name, contact information, address, photo title, and photo description in the body of the email along with the photo.
The awards include one Happy Father Award (300,000 KRW), three Caring Father Awards (200,000 KRW each), five Cool Father Awards (100,000 KRW each), and twenty Cheer Up Father Awards (50,000 KRW each), selecting a total of 29 winners.
The winning works will be announced on December 9th through the Father Center website. In addition, the winning works will be exhibited separately in an online virtual exhibition.
The Seocho-gu Father Center received great responses by holding the ‘1st Happy Father Photo Contest’ last year and this year’s ‘Seocho-gu Father Center Core Values 5p Essay Contest’ to provide opportunities for fathers and families to build memories and harmony.
