[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] About 10 days before the 2022 College Scholastic Ability Test, five students at Seoul Dandae High School tested positive for COVID-19. Emergency quarantine measures have been activated at the school and nearby Daechi-dong academy districts.
According to Gangnam District Office on the 6th, after the first confirmed case at Dandae High School the previous day, a total of five students have tested positive. The confirmed students are second-year students who are not test-takers, and all are reported to be in the same class.
An epidemiological investigation is currently underway, and the Gangnam District Health Center plans to decide whether to expand testing to all students based on the investigation results.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has announced that starting from the 11th, all high schools nationwide will switch to remote classes to protect test-takers and supervisors, and necessary preparations for each test site will be conducted.
