Former Prosecutor General Yoon received 47.85% of the combined votes from the public opinion polls and party member voting. Although Yoon trailed behind Representative Hong in the public opinion polls, he led in the party member voting and was confirmed as the presidential candidate.
Representative Hong Jun-pyo of the People Power Party secured 41.5%, placing second. Former Representative Yoo Seung-min received 7.47%, and former Jeju Governor Won Hee-ryong obtained 3.17%.
