Jeju Police have been conducting intensive crackdowns on illegal two-wheeled vehicles and traffic law violations for three months from last month until the end of the year.
They also plan to eradicate disorderly behavior of two-wheeled vehicles that threaten traffic safety through continuous joint crackdowns with related organizations such as Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (Autonomous Police Unit, Administrative City), and Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
In particular, night crackdowns will be strengthened to alleviate residents’ inconvenience caused by illegal modifications such as mufflers.
A Jeju Police official said, “We ask two-wheeled vehicle drivers to comply with traffic laws themselves to create a safe Jeju not only for themselves but for everyone from traffic accidents.”
