Kitchen Multipurpose Cleaners Show Varied Cleaning Performance... Prices Differ by Up to 3.5 Times
Consumer Agency, Test and Evaluation Results of 7 Products
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] It has been found that the cleaning performance and price of multipurpose kitchen cleaners, whose demand has recently increased, vary by product.
On the 3rd, the Korea Consumer Agency disclosed the test and evaluation results of seven multipurpose kitchen cleaners that are frequently purchased at large supermarkets. The evaluation targets were seven products selected through a consumer survey: Aekyung Industrial Labsin Home Vaccine Kitchen Cleaner, Pigeon Mugyunmuttae Kitchen Cleaner, DH Industry Baking Soda Cleaner, Henkel Home Care Korea Bref Power Kitchen Cleaner, Sugar Bubble Grease Cleaner, Yuhan Corporation Yuhanrox Kitchen Cleaner, and LG Household & Health Care Homestar Kitchen Cleaner.
Test results showed that Bref Power Kitchen Cleaner was relatively superior in cleaning performance against various complex stains occurring in daily life. For grease stains generated during cooking, Mugyunmuttae Kitchen Cleaner and Sugar Bubble Grease Cleaner were relatively superior.
The price per 100ml ranged from 333 won (Baking Soda Cleaner) to 1,180 won (Bref Power Kitchen Cleaner), a difference of 3.5 times. All products were judged to meet the standards in safety and labeling compliance investigations. However, caution is required as the spray may cause irritation if it gets into the eyes during use.
