It was recently revealed that Lee Jae-yong, Vice Chairman of Samsung Electronics, and Hong Ra-hee, former director of the Leeum Museum of Art, visited Haeinsa Temple in Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, on the 1st. That day marked the 52nd anniversary of Samsung Electronics' founding.
The two visited Haeinsa Temple, where the 49th-day memorial service for the late Chairman Lee Kun-hee was held, without any attendants to mark the first anniversary of his passing. After spending a night in Uiryeong, Gyeongnam, where the birthplace of Samsung Group founder Hoam Lee Byung-chul is located, Vice Chairman Lee and former Director Hong reportedly visited Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan on the 2nd.
