Yeongam-gun Extends Temporary Emergency Welfare Standard Relaxation Until December

Accordingly, Yeongam-gun has launched an active publicity campaign along with a large-scale investigation.
According to the county on the 2nd, in the emergency welfare support sector that provides assistance to low-income households with a standard median income of 75% or less who are in crisis situations such as income loss due to unemployment or severe illness, regardless of the presence of supporting obligors for livelihood and housing, the property standard has been relaxed from the existing 101 million KRW to 170 million KRW. The deduction rate for living preparation funds has been expanded from 65% to 150%, and while re-support was previously not possible within 2 years for the same crisis reason, re-support is now possible after 6 months.
If selected as an emergency welfare support recipient, one can receive support such as 1,266,000 KRW for living expenses based on a four-person household and 300,000 KRW for medical expenses per person.
Yeongam-gun has so far provided emergency living expenses and medical expenses amounting to 362 households and 290 million KRW.
