Hanjin Launches 'LogiDux', Industry's First Logistics Knowledge Platform
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Hanjin announced on the 2nd that it has launched ‘Logidox,’ the industry’s first logistics specialized knowledge platform.
Planned by the Hanjin Logistics Research Institute and operated by Hanjin, Logidox is a platform that provides users with logistics-specific knowledge and matches them with logistics experts.
Hanjin and the Hanjin Logistics Research Institute explained that Logidox is introduced as part of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, enabling both platform users who need logistics knowledge and problem-solving and logistics experts to grow together.
Logidox’s differentiated feature from other knowledge platforms is that logistics experts directly provide the knowledge information.
Through this, it is expected to strengthen logistics work capabilities for related workers, provide professional help in solving logistics-related problems for small business owners, one-person enterprises, and social enterprises, and enhance practical understanding for students and researchers in related departments, thereby contributing to nurturing future national logistics talents.
Logidox is available on mobile (Android, iOS) apps and websites. It consists of ‘Logistics Expert Matching Service,’ ‘Logistics Specialized Knowledge Service provided by Experts,’ and ‘Logistics-related Q&A Service.’ Most services are operated free of charge, and depending on the level of requested information such as consulting, users will be able to apply for paid services. Currently, it is provided for individual users, and there are plans to expand the service for companies and institutions in the future.
Logidox will also open an English version for global users in the future. The English version is designed to accommodate various countries and regional users by reflecting the characteristics of global logistics, such as differing regulations by country and geographical specificities. It focuses on connectivity between domestic and international experts and users by linking with the Korean version.
Experts providing logistics knowledge can freely apply and are selected through screening of their career records in logistics-related companies and institutions. General users can earn points through activities on the platform such as Q&A participation, logistics-related columns, and know-how sharing, which can lead to becoming experts. In particular, experts will be able to generate income through paid knowledge service activities provided in the future.
