SK On Starts Hiring New Battery Employees... Some Dispatched as Overseas Staff
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] SK On is conducting global new employee recruitment on a rolling basis starting from the 1st to select future leaders who will be responsible for the battery business.
On this day, SK On announced that it will hire new employees in fields such as production technology, quality control, research and development (R&D), business, and management support.
In particular, new employees in production technology and quality control will be trained in SK On's unique quality control expertise and production safety technology, and will be dispatched as resident staff to overseas bases in the United States, Europe, China, and other regions. The aim is to select talents with a high understanding of local culture and markets and nurture them into specialized personnel who can reflect local needs.
The reason SK On especially aims to cultivate global talent in production technology and quality control is because it is rapidly expanding its overseas production bases. SK On's order backlog, which refers to the volume of confirmed future deliveries, exceeds 1600GWh, the highest level among global battery companies. To fulfill large-scale deliveries, it is building factories in the United States, Europe, China, and other locations.
SK On will accept global new employee application documents until the 14th of this month, then conduct written and interview screenings, and announce the final successful candidates by the end of this year. Additionally, recruitment for experienced employees will be converted to year-round rolling hiring to continuously secure excellent personnel in fields such as production, quality, and R&D.
