IBK, Recruiting Companies for the 3rd Batch of 'IBK First Lab'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 31st that it is recruiting participating companies for the open innovation testbed ‘IBK 1st Lab 3rd cohort’.
‘IBK 1st Lab’ is an innovation testbed that verifies whether the technologies and ideas of participating companies can be integrated into the bank’s products, services, and business processes for the development of innovative financial services, and if the test is successful, it promotes full-scale commercialization.
Since its launch in September 2019, a total of 26 innovative companies have participated in 27 projects. Through this, innovative services such as the ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) Real Estate Automatic Screening System’ and ‘Digital Identity Verification Service’ have been launched.
For participating companies, the bank supports the use of internal data, dedicated collaboration spaces, IT infrastructure, etc., to verify the commercialization potential of innovative technologies and ideas, and also provides investment linkage opportunities.

Any company, institution, university, research institute, or individual possessing digital innovative technologies and ideas can apply. The application period is until the 30th of next month, and after the first document screening and the second interview evaluation, about 10 companies will be finally selected in December.
