Ministry of SMEs and Startups Announces Open Call for '2021 Christmas Market Excellent Products' Top 100 Selection
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Junhyung] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 31st that it will open applications for the top 100 excellent products for this year's 'Christmas Market.' The application period is from the 1st to the 7th of next month.
The Christmas Market was planned to revitalize the small business economy amid growing expectations for phased daily recovery (With Corona). The Ministry of SMEs and Startups has set the goal of this year's Christmas Market as 'mass consumption promotion for small business owners' and will hold the event both online and offline.
This call for the top 100 Christmas Market products was prepared to encourage participation from small business owners ahead of the main event scheduled for December this year. The Ministry will select around 100 products through a first round of written evaluations by private experts and a second round of mobile evaluations based on public voting. The final selected products will be given opportunities for product exhibition at the main event venue and online promotion and sales through live commerce.
Small and medium enterprises or small business owners wishing to participate can apply through the SME Distribution Center's 'Gachi Sapsida' platform.
