Suncheon-si Signs Business Agreement with Emergency Medical Institutions for Proactive Response to With-Corona
Efforts to Minimize Medical Gaps Including Home Treatment Amid Transition to With-Corona Policy
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) signed a business agreement with emergency medical institutions on the 29th as a preemptive response to the phased recovery of daily life.
At the signing ceremony, Mayor Heo Seok of Suncheon City, the president of the Suncheon Medical Association, the director of Suncheon Medical Center, the director of Seonggarolo Hospital, the director of the Korea Workers' Compensation & Welfare Service Suncheon Hospital, the director of Suncheon Hanguk Hospital, the director of Suncheon Jeil Hospital, and the director of Inos ENT Hospital attended and agreed to maintain a mutual cooperation system to minimize medical service gaps following the transition to With Corona.
According to the agreement, ▶ Suncheon City will oversee With Corona operations, review difficulties faced by medical institutions, and provide administrative support; ▶ Suncheon Medical Association will maintain routine medical services to prevent inconvenience to citizens; ▶ Suncheon Medical Center will operate as an infectious disease-dedicated hospital and cooperate as a COVID-19 home treatment hospital; ▶ Seonggarolo Hospital will operate infectious disease-dedicated beds to provide inpatient treatment for moderate COVID-19 confirmed patients; ▶ Emergency medical institutions (facilities) will manage isolation beds for emergency patients, individuals with COVID-19 related symptoms, and those with adverse reactions to vaccinations; ▶ Inos ENT Hospital will serve as a respiratory specialty clinic to treat patients with respiratory symptoms, with each institution fulfilling its respective roles.
