Gimhae-si Holds 4th Information Linkage Council Meeting to Strengthen Child Abuse Response System
Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam held an information linkage council meeting to discuss protection measures for abused children.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 29th that it held the 4th Information Linkage Council meeting to discuss the protection and response measures for children who are victims of child abuse.
The meeting was attended by Gimhae Central and Western Police Stations, Gimhae Child Protection Agency, and city officials, who shared the progress of investigations into child abuse victims and discussed support measures for families of children requiring follow-up care.
First, they exchanged opinions on the need for cooperation between each eup, myeon, and dong administrative welfare center and related organizations to verify the whereabouts and safety of 233 three-year-old children not attending daycare centers or kindergartens through a full survey.
For households with child abuse victims requiring focused management, the city and related organizations plan to conduct a second joint inspection from November until the end of this year.
The first joint inspection was conducted in July, providing safety checks and financial support for 12 high-risk children requiring focused management.
