According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) on the 29th, the number of confirmed cases on the 28th was 770, which is 18 fewer than the previous day (788) and 251 more than a week ago (519 on the 21st). Among the new confirmed cases, 769 were domestic infections and 1 was imported.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul reached a record high of 1,221 on the 24th of last month. After that, it dropped to 298 on the 18th of this month and remained in the 500s from the 19th to the 23rd.
On the 24th and 25th, the number fell to the 400s due to a decrease in weekend testing, but since the 26th, it has again recorded numbers in the 700s.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul is 118,128, of which 11,177 patients are currently in isolation and treatment. Four additional deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 786.
