Nam Yunseong, CEO of Mgood, Awarded the Bogwan Cultural Medal
Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Awards Government Honors to Contributors to Magazine Development
Nam Yun-seong, CEO of M-Good, will receive the Bogwan Cultural Medal. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 29th that it will hold a 'Magazine Day' ceremony at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 1st of next month and award government honors to related contributors. Thirteen people will be honored, including one Bogwan Cultural Medal, one Presidential Citation, one Prime Minister Citation, and ten Ministerial Citations.
Nam, who will be awarded the Bogwan Cultural Medal, founded the monthly magazine 'Midaeipsi' in April 1989, providing useful entrance exam information to art college aspirants and art educators. He also developed and operates the art entrance exam website 'M-Good,' contributing to the popularization of art culture. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated, "He has also contributed to the development of the related industry by serving as vice president and director of the Magazine Association."
The Presidential Citation will be awarded to Jeon Jae-seong, CEO of Magazine Plus, who is the publisher of the monthly magazine 'Queen.' Over the past 31 years, he has contributed to the development of women's culture and the magazine industry by providing various lifestyle information. He also leads a healthy dietary culture by publishing the monthly 'Organic Life (ORGANIC LIFE).' Song Young-yong, CEO of MD, will receive the Prime Minister Citation. He was recognized for founding the monthly 'MD Journal' in November 1999, providing medical knowledge and health information, and driving the development of the related industry.
